Quipu?(Kipu)
Quipu is a device where the Incas kept records and information to communicate. This simple portable device achieved a surprising degree of precision and flexibility.
Quipu could record dates, statistics, accounts, and even represent in abstract form key episodes from traditional folk stories and poetry. Other types of data that Quipu was used to record included stores, taxes, livestock, land measurements, equipment, astronomy, and calendars.
